Prof. Boedi Harsono, SH. is a highly qualified legal scholar and practitioner (as holder of several high ranking positions at the Department of Agrarian, later became Directorate General of Agrarian and now National Land Affairs Body, including as Special Assistance for Legal Matters to Minister of Agrarian). He is a graduate of Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia. He is Dean of Faculty of Law, Trisakti University (Jakarta, since 1966), where he is also chaired its Center for Agrarian Law Studies. Since 1951 he is involved in the drafting and formation of Indonesian Agrarian/Land Law including the Basic Agrarian Law. He introduces the syllabus for teaching Indonesian Agrarian Law, firstly at the Faculty of Law of University of Indonesia (1962), then Trisakti University (1964) and the syllabus is now used by all Faculties of Law in Indonesia. He is a lecturer in, i.a., University of Indonesia, Trisakti University, and Diponegoro University (Semarang).
