

M. Arie Armand, SH., LL.M partner, is a graduate of the Faculty of Law, University of Padjadjaran (2000) and Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington, Indiana, USA (LL.M., 2005).
He is member of the Indonesian Bar Association (IKADIN) and the Asia Pacific Loan Market Association (APLMA).
He mainly works on the firm banking and finance transactions assisting lenders as well as debtor in their bilateral, syndicated, subordinated, and mezzanine transactions. He has expertise and experience in assisting lenders in debt restructuring of several Indonesian conglomerates, refinancing, and acquisition of major Indonesian business group and formation of several mutual funds, including those based on Syariah (Islamic law). He frequently advises international banks on how to structure their cross border transactions particularly offering of their securities and structured products in Indonesia. He has a limited practice in corporate litigation as well as ADR and was involved in one of the biggest settlement case using the mediation system supervised by Indonesian court.
His favorite weekend activities are swimming and reading.
